We have nothing but amazing things to say about Thurman's Place! We were nervous to send our little guy off and they were so accommodating with great communication, sent so many videos and pics of Nash...we quickly settled in and knew this was such a great opportunity for him. He came home so obedient, confident, and calm but still with his personality! I no longer have to watch his every move or correct puppy biting. Karen and her team are angels and truly love these pups!!

My wheaten terrier absolutely loves coming to Thurman’s Place! He has the best time with other dogs on pack hikes and especially loves splashing in the creek. I know he has had a blast when he comes back exhausted, wants snuggles, and then goes to lay in his crate for naps!! Highly recommend training and boarding at Thurman’s.

Thurman's Place is amazing! We had our 14 month old Boykin Spaniel e-collar trained for 4 weeks there with incredible results. She is such a good listener now! We have been able to bring her tent camping with us and to stay at a cabin on the lake without worrying about her running off or not listening to us. Layla is totally fine off leash. And we rarely have to press the e-collar button. As long as the collar is on her, she listens. But the great thing is, Layla also listens without the collar on when both indoors and outdoors. We only have to tell her to do something once and she does it. Also, when she came back from training, she had dropped some of her old bad habits without us even having to address them. Layla came back with the same fun-loving personality, just with much better behavior. We were finally able to take the baby gates down because she doesn't even try to go upstairs now. We get so many compliments on her good behavior. We tell everyone how great Thurman's Place training is and highly recommend it to any dog owner!

We could not be more pleased with the training that Henry received at Thurman's Place. To start the entire staff was wonderful to work with including quick communication, updates through his training, and follow-up after. The dog training philosophy at Thurman's place has shown through from the "homework" reading "The Good Dog" and has played out true that we have a more relaxed, calm dog at home now. We felt our Henry was loved on and cared for by everyone at Thurman's place which was evidence during our mid-training visit. Karen was fabulous, answered all my questions, and made suggestions based on our family and life during the return home training. We have worked to try and keep up his training but have benefitted from the ability to sending him back for boarding and a skill refresher. Thanks Thurman's Place!

Our boy LOVES to go to Thurmans. When they pull up to pick him up he can't wait to jump in. The attention and love is second to none. The training brush up never hurts either. This place is a dream vacation for him with all his palls.
