Think Pawsitive Dog Training - (Waukesha, WI)

Think Pawsitive is absolutely awesome! My 5 almost month old Border Collie puppy just finished Puppy Manners today with Olivia. She was SUCH an awesome trainer. She broke things down in a very simple way, and made it FUN so that we kept working when we went home. She 100% loves dogs and I felt so welcome in every class and I know Riot felt so loved. Riot has also participated in the Rocket Recall workshop and has been swimming in the pool. Everything we’ve been through has been such an awesome experience. I can’t wait for our Advanced Manners Class - we will also be doing frisbee, agility, dock diving, rally, nose work……basically everything because it’s so fun!

Very disappointed in the experience and communication with the work done with our dog over the roughly year he has been going to the fit club 1 day a week. Going in to joining the fit club we laid out his issues, we wanted to both warn them about to make sure they were willing to handle and work on his reactivity and how excited he gets entering and leaving daycares (these facilities did not have trainers so we came here and paid the higher costs under the impression our dog would be working on training the issue we laid out). We were very honest and transparent and were told they could work on it with him and would give us feedback to what was and wasn't working. This was apparently not the case. For our daily reports it was all positive, at worst there would be the occasional he barked at a dog on a walk and would be barking in the kennel (so we brought a chew). 95% of the time it was how well he did on walks, in terms of reactivity and how well he listened during training. There were times when we asked specifically for a day on reactivity training and they agreed happily, other times we were told no way, many times they asked us if it was okay if they did and were enjoying his progress. We have now been asked to not return because it has been only getting worse and worse and that they dont trust him and that he is unable to be trained. Where the heck was all of this info in the reports? How are we not getting this information, especially if it WAS GETTING WORSE, let alone staying stagnant!? Very frustrating that given the costs compared to other facilities we received faulty information that lead to inconsistency and an overall drop of care with 0 transparency.
