The Zensational Dog

Anita boarded two of our dogs, a stubborn Hound and a near-feral Husky/Shepherd and turned them into excellently behaved dogs. My wife and I were nearly at the end of our options when it came to getting the dogs to relax and behave, but Anita worked with us patiently and at flexible times to accommodate how busy we were. I cannot recommend Anita's training highly enough. If you have any dog with any issue contact her immediately.

We honestly didn’t know what to expect when we dropped our pup off. We have a bull terrier and anyone who has had one knows how stubborn and hyper they can be! Ours was no exception. Our dog, Loki, had a hard time controlling his excitement, loved to jump on people, always had to be up under someone’s feet and would always bolt out the door as soon as we opened it. A few times we had to chase him to get him back inside, which was scary since we live so close to a busy street. We went with the 3 week training program with Anita. She was very informative and kept us in the loop with videos and photos on what was going on with Loki throughout the time he was with her. We’ve had several friends and family members talk about how he’s such a different dog! Don’t get me wrong, he’s still a bull terrier, but he’s much better at calming down, not jumping or running out the door until we tell him too. He even walks on a leash extremely well with us not having to pull on him or run with him (unless we want to). This is not an end all be all kind of program. This is going to require you to work with your pup, but she lays a great foundation and even sits down with you for a few hour session to teach YOU how to best interact with your pup to help them maintain all they’ve learned in her program. Overall we are extremely satisfied with the work she did with Loki and look forward to continuing their training/boarding/refreshers if needed!

Anita is an amazing trainer who helped us out so much! Initially, we took our 3 year old dog Bug to her for a 3 week board and train to get a handle on his crazy antics. Bug is now a model citizen; he made a complete 180 change from crazy hound to off leash obedient rock star. Then we adopted a puppy Havok and she came over and did several in home lessons with us then a board and train later. We needed as much help as we could get because Havok definitely lived up to his name! The little guy had bad food and toy aggression, among other things, that only got worse the older he got. If it wasn't for Anita, we probably would have had to give him back to the shelter because he got so bad. But Havok is still with us and is now a very happy, loving member of our family! Not to mention all the times she boarded our dogs when we had weeks of Army training to go to! It was great knowing our dogs were in safe hands whenever we needed to board them. Unfortunately we are no longer in Clarksville (thanks to the army) but we still recommend her to anyone we know that live in Clarksville if they are ever looking for a dog trainer.

Anita does a great job with even highly "aggressive" labeled dogs. My dog Charlie is like family and I trust the zensational dog to give him the highest quality care and training! Anita will teach your dog to have a calm state of mind, improving everything from aggression, reactivity, and separation anxiety. Definitely worth the investment! I only wish I had sent my dog to training sooner. I house broke my dog and taught him tricks (sit, roll over, shake etc.) and I took his bad behaviors as normal puppy behavior (nipping, barking, lunging at strangers, bad leash manners) until they just kept getting worse! The zensational dog together with the Calm K9 in TN turned everything around for me and my dog! I thought at one point I'd be forced to put my dog down. Today I get compliments on how well trained he is! Anita is also an excellent photographer, and I look forward to getting professional photos of my pup whenever he stays with her!
