The Zensational Dog

This is an amazing program and Anita is amazing at what she does! We sent our very timid, almost 3 month, 2 lb puppy to her puppy training program and it made all the difference in the world. She is outgoing, friendly, very obedient and eager to please and isn't afraid of anything! Everyone that meets her says they've never seen a chihuahua that is so friendly and laid back. While we contribute that partly to her being half poodle, we also give most of the credit to her training at The Zensational Dog program. Definitely worth every penny!

I rescued my GSD/Golden Retriever mix, Renegade, in February. Though I’m an experienced dog owner, it quickly became apparent that he had a lot of separation anxiety and abandonment issues. I first used a trainer who would come to my house but I didn’t see any improvement. I started doing zoom sessions with Anita and quickly saw some improvement and she sent all the training materials I needed. I decided to do Board & Train with her because he was very dog reactive on walks and still had a lot of anxiety. Anita sent regular updates and set up a Google drive account with videos so that I could learn along his training. Post-training and I can actually enjoy walking him because he’s so much easier to control and does not react as strongly to other dogs. His separation anxiety is also drastically improved. I recommend her to all of my friends in the area who have dogs; she’s fantastic.

🏆First and Foremost Anita is Great at what she does. Earlier this year my family and I adopted a German Shepherd Puppy, we had him for about 6 months and we did our best to teach as much as we could with the basic knowledge we had with training animals. We were doing pretty well we thought since he took to potty training fairly quickly and he could Sit and Shake, but after a while we seemed to have hit a brick wall when it came to figuring out how to adjust certain habits such as nipping, door dashing, leash pulling, counter surfing and also bringing down his energy when he got too excited. For a while We had looked for trainers in our area that could help but couldn’t seem to find one that was right for us, until we came across Zensational. We filled out the online application form and the same day a woman named Anita called us, she was polite, professional and informative. Within 8 sessions she helped us transform our doggo into a well mannered and happy pup. She is Devoted, Caring and Offers her knowledge anytime you need it. I would recommend 1000 times over. Anita is one of the best dog trainers I have ever worked with. She puts a lot of hard work into training and getting to know each pups specific needs. She worked with our pup Tater for a month and I think it was one of the best experiences for him. Not only did she send me his progress (via photos, videos and messages ) throughout his entire stay but she also came to our home to check on his progress any time I needed some advice or help on a concern I had . I would recommend Anita to anyone whose looking for someone to take care or train your pets . Thank you for all you have done and continue to do for Tater and for teaching me how to communicate effectively with my pup!

Fantastic experience! She took my 6 month old Labradoodle "Gabe" for 2 weeks and he came back a changed man! Our problems were - not being able to walk him without him pulling and biting. He would jump at us and at others- basically unable to be around people without just overall bad and unruly behavior. Anita took him from not being able to have him in the house- TO... (wait for it) ... co-existing beautifully IN OUR HOME... sitting in his "place" while the door bell rings, walking around the house, fixing breakfast, eating a meal, and RELAXED in his appointed spot. I am so thrilled to be able to enjoy our 50 pound puppy, Gabe. He is a transformed dog. If your call wasn't answered immediately - (I saw from a previous review...) please know it's worth the wait to get a call back from Anita. She has a gift with animals. She was probably working with a dog that really needed her help (it was probably mine). She helped me understand my dogs mindset and in return ... I have a great relationship with my pet (andI am able to get rid of my bad habits too that contributed to his bad behavior.) This is the perfect place to get your dog trained and correct some bad behavior. 10 stars from me. Thank you for being a wonderful addition to the pet training world.
