FirstBarkJerry is terrific! He helped me with my rescue dog Angel. She was very dog reactive on walks ! Jerry's training method was amazing ! After 2 days no more reaction ! It is such a pleasure to walk my dog now ! Highly recommend Jerry and his training !

The Well Heeled Way®️ is a simple, straightforward dog training approach offered in three formats tailored to your needs (in-home or on-site dog training & an online course). We implement a proactive, science-based process that positively shapes your dog’s conduct, both in the house & amidst unfamiliar environments. By mirroring your dog’s natural social behavior, we can nurture a calm & attentive canine that will love their training sessions as much as you will! We guarantee that our private training sessions will assist you with improving the relationship between you & your furry friend. If you are not satisfied with the results of the private training, Jerry will not accept a fee! (Puppies should be 16 weeks old & fully vaccinated)

With Jerry’s help my dogs went from pulling, lunging, and making me miserable to calm, easy to control, and happy walkers. Now I look forward to our walks, down the street and thru the woods, because I am in control and they are happy being dogs and being led. For those of you who are perhaps like me with a dog way too big for you, overly protective of , and very much in love with you, and who will absolutely not let anyone near you without a major confrontation coming….well then you know that walks, strangers, and neighborhood pets can be a frightening, scary experience. If this is you I have two words for you . Call Jerry. Within a week of me calling him for help, he was at my house with a custom made harness, ready to take Beowulf and me out into the neighborhood for training. I can’t tell you the transformation that occurred in that hour. Along with training tips and some dog whispering and of course that unique harness , I had the control I needed to walk my dog with confidence, and joy. Thank you Jerry!!!!
Jerry is fantastic! He came to meet our 6 mo old pup last week, we have followed his advice and walks are so much easier! We would recommend Jerry to anyone with a dog of any age, he is loving and soft spoken.
