FirstBarkJerry Barnes is an amazing man who loves dogs unconditionally. My wife and I are 71 yrs old and got our puppy two years ago. The love came instantly but some of his training was a little difficult for us. Jerry and his calming harness has made it very easy for us and Rudy. The transition has been amazing. Life changing.

The Well Heeled Way®️ is a simple, straightforward dog training approach offered in three formats tailored to your needs (in-home or on-site dog training & an online course). We implement a proactive, science-based process that positively shapes your dog’s conduct, both in the house & amidst unfamiliar environments. By mirroring your dog’s natural social behavior, we can nurture a calm & attentive canine that will love their training sessions as much as you will! We guarantee that our private training sessions will assist you with improving the relationship between you & your furry friend. If you are not satisfied with the results of the private training, Jerry will not accept a fee! (Puppies should be 16 weeks old & fully vaccinated)

Best experience! I felt so comfortable leaving our dog with Jeff. His place is immaculate and he sends you updates. Truly loves animals and it shows. My dog came back to me cleaner even! He took the time to trim her nails which I really appreciated. Will definitely be using his services again.

Still can’t get over how quickly walking with my dog changed for the better. No more tugging, pulling, stopping. Hands free and an enjoyable walk the very next day after training. So impressed with the training we received and looking forward to continue success! A year later and another dog added to the family. A quick call to Jerry to help us walk both together. WOW within 30 minutes both walking together perfectly and me hands free. Now both the dogs and I will get a beneficial walk without pulling and stopping. Bailey and Oakley did so well- cant thank Jerry enough for round 2 of training.
Jerry offered great insight on how to interact with our dog. The harness that he developed is an unbelievable tool that changed our dog within minutes. Our 90lb dog no longer pulls us on walks. Thank you Jerry!
