The Well Heeled Way®️ is a simple, straightforward dog training approach offered in three formats tailored to your needs (in-home or on-site dog training & an online course). We implement a proactive, science-based process that positively shapes your dog’s conduct, both in the house & amidst unfamiliar environments. By mirroring your dog’s natural social behavior, we can nurture a calm & attentive canine that will love their training sessions as much as you will! We guarantee that our private training sessions will assist you with improving the relationship between you & your furry friend. If you are not satisfied with the results of the private training, Jerry will not accept a fee! (Puppies should be 16 weeks old & fully vaccinated)

I cannot say enough good things about the phenomenal care and training Jerry has provided for our two australian shepherds, Max and Ellie. He is the only one we wholeheartedly trust for boarding and the peace of mind we have while they are there is absolutely priceless. I can also not thank him enough for the training guidance he has provided, most recently with the slip harnesses so we could get rid of our prong collars. Being able to walk two excited dogs at the same time is no small feat and thanks to the patience and care Jerry has provided, it’s like we have two completely different dogs. I highly recommend Jerry and we are so thankful for his help!

Jerry is simply amazing! He has provided training the past few years for my dog Oakley. He had issues jumping, pulling on walks, and even lunging towards other dogs. With Jerry’s basic training and guidance Oakley is now well behaved and a pleasure to walk. Most recently, when visiting Jerry he introduced me to the TWHW Slip Harness he created. This device is to be used in place of the prong collar. It is gentle and best.. it works! If you are looking for a trainer that you can trust, Jerry is the man! He is brilliant.
The Well Heeled way was just what I needed. It exceeded my expectations. My dog was literally transformed in her responses by educating me with Jerry’s excellent insight. He really understands dogs and behaviors. I have removed the frustrations of training a puppy!!!! Thank you!!! Highly recommend!
