FirstBarkJerry Barnes did a fantastic job training me abd my German shepherd Samson on leash walking. His WHW harness is simple to use and easy to put on the dog. I previously took an obedience, and samson failed the leash walking. With Jerry's coaching I csn now walk Samson hands free. I highly recommend this business. class a

By mirroring your dog’s natural social behavior, we can nurture a calm & attentive canine that will love their training sessions as much as you will! We guarantee that our private training sessions will assist you with improving the relationship between you & your furry friend. If you are not satisfied with the results of the private training, Jerry will not accept a fee! (Puppies should be 16 weeks old & fully vaccinated)

Success! After two-years our Statia is able to greet strangers calmly without jumping on them. Jerry's harness and his expertise in training us to learn the core skills enabled this behavior. The harness calmed her and gave her a sense of where her body was. We could give quick minimal prompts when needed. What we didn't expect was how this transferred into our day to day activities. We have become more valued in Statia's eyes. Jerry's instructed us within our home and while walking in our neighborhood This gave us and Statia a firm foundation and the tools to experience success. With daily practice, Statia has learned the boundaries that have improved her healing while walking, coming when called and just calmly hanging with us. We are grateful for bringing The Well Healed Way into our home. Having Jerry come to our home enabled us to integrate Statia's triggers within the training and learn how to approach them. Partnering with The Well-Heeled Way is an investment well spent to enrich your family.⁹
Jerry is wonderful with dogs and people! Within 2 hours of my request for in home training, he called and talked with me about my concerns. We have talked or texted several times for additional help and Jerry has always been available. The “Dog Blog” is great too for additional advice.
Jerry and the Well Heeled Way is a phenomenal Human, he is an amazing trainer, inventor of a breakthrough type of leash, but he has an amazing boarding kennel as well. There's nowhere else I would recommend boarding your dog or seeking training

We took our pup for his first experience, while we were away for 10 days. Jerry let him sniff around, meet all the dogs, and get comfortable with the surroundings as he wished. We received videos almost daily of the dogs all having fun and what was happening that day. I will say that my pup came back better than when he arrived. I could write paragraphs about the amazing experience, and would recommend Jerry to anyone for great care of their pooch. We have already mentioned him to many friends and will be taking our pup back when the time comes. If I could give 7 stars, i would.
