FirstBarkJerry was amazing with our Rosie!! She was a puller and very strong so I never tried to walk her. After just an hour with Jerry’s amazing device and his hands on training of Rosie AND us, she is a different dog!! We highly recommend Jerry!!

The Well Heeled Way®️ is a simple, straightforward dog training approach offered in three formats tailored to your needs (in-home or on-site dog training & an online course). We implement a proactive, science-based process that positively shapes your dog’s conduct, both in the house & amidst unfamiliar environments. By mirroring your dog’s natural social behavior, we can nurture a calm & attentive canine that will love their training sessions as much as you will! We guarantee that our private training sessions will assist you with improving the relationship between you & your furry friend. If you are not satisfied with the results of the private training, Jerry will not accept a fee! (Puppies should be 16 weeks old & fully vaccinated)

Cannot say enough about Jerry. He had my golden retriever walking calmly on a leash in about 5 minutes. His equipment is fantastic and I’ve been able to have great walks with my dog.
We adopted a sweet lab mix from the shelter and struggled with misbehavior on the leash. It only took one 90 minute training session with Jerry and his handcrafted training leash and we have a different dog! Jerry was very patient and was able to coach us as the owners, as well! When considering a trainer, go through The Well Heeled Way!
Jerry did an incredible job with our 8-month-old GSP, who had been a real challenge to walk on a leash. In just one hour during a private training session at his home, our pup made a complete turnaround—walking calmly right by my side. His top-quality equipment, combined with Jerry's calm and knowledgeable approach, made all the difference. Absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend Jerry, his training, and his custom-made equipment! I had been wanting to find a trainer that aligns with my values and morals when both my coworker and neighbor suggested Jerry. My 2-1/2yr old dog is a bit on the timid side, and Jerry knew just what to do/how to handle her and he is respectful to the owners as well. He was calm and patient and informative, teaching myself as well as my pup, who had picked up on his teachings so fast. She no longer pulls and has much more confidence. Needless to say, Jerry has been doing this for some time and his results speak for themselves! Thanks again Jerry!
