If you have an adorable little puppy, but swear that your dog may be partially deaf because it won’t listen to any commands, I cannot recommend The Virtuous Dog enough. Kelly is the dog whisperer. We employed Kelly’s services to help fix some behavioral issues with our pit bull Nugget, and within five minutes of Kelly being with us, our puppy was a completely different dog. Kelly’s extensive knowledge of canine behavior, as well as her compassionate “patience and love” approach to dog training, makes her a no brainer. Dog training is an unregulated industry, and unfortunately some trainers use harmful methods such as shock collars to get dogs to “behave”. This trains based on fear instead of love, the latter of which is Kelly’s approach. I am so glad we took the time to look into TVD. We learned so much in two hours, and will never go elsewhere for training. 🙏
Kelly is incredible. After a tagging incident with our rescued pittie, she was quick to come to our home to work with him. She’s professional, understanding and incredibly knowledgeable. She helped me take control of the situation and become more confident, for myself and for our boy. I couldn’t be more grateful for her services.
Kelly came to our home and listened to our issues and responded with fabulous support for our dog who has several issues from resource guarding aggression to anxiety and health support. I would highly recommend.
