The Stellar Dog is the sole ownership of Megan Sartori. The Stellar Dog exists to offer quality care and professional dog training for pets and their owners in the greater Austin, TX area. The Stellar Dog serves the Central Texas areas of North Austin, Northwest Austin, and the cities of Cedar Park, Volente and Leander. The Stellar Dog serves the communities at Canyon Creek, Crystal Falls, The Domain, Four Points, River Place, Steiner Ranch and Brushy Creek. The Stellar Dog specializes in private training and day training for puppies and dogs of all ages. Services include basic obedience and manners training, service dog training and behavior modification for serious issues such as reactivity, fear and aggression.

The All Star program is more comprehensive and your dog will learn several more behaviors. Your dog will be easy to control both inside and outside of your home. You also get the added bonus of email support for 4 months after we’ve finished the training sessions. This way you can feel free to contact me with any questions or issues that come up therefore ensuring the best possible outcome!
The Ultimate Foundation is, well, the ultimate! It is the most comprehensive program and the results are pretty amazing. It consists of a combination of day training sessions, where I work with your dog solo to get the training on board more quickly, plus private sessions where we work together so you know what your dog knows. Your dog will respond to cues, be a pleasure to walk, and shine as an important member of your family. You receive unlimited email and phone support for six months after we’ve finished the training sessions. That’s right, a trainer on hand to answer your questions and problem solve while your dog is perfecting its newly acquired behaviors!

Train your own Service Dog under the guidance of a knowledgeable and experienced service dog trainer. To enroll in our service dog program you must have a diagnosed disability, and a willingness to work hard with your dog to reach your goals as a team. Service dog training is not easy, but it can be incredibly rewarding. Be prepared to spend time every day working with your dog. During the Initial Consultation dogs will be evaluated for their suitability for Service Dog work and individuals will be interviewed in order to assess their needs. A Public Access Test will be performed at the conclusion of training. Limited training slots available.

We have two Shi-Poo puppies who are brothers and we researched dog trainers in our area and found Megan!
While Baja + Biggie are extremely cute and cuddly, they were beginning to show some naughty behaviors that we needed help on, such as: barking at the front door, jumping on visitors, walking (or should we say “dragging” on the leash!), socialization with humans + dogs, and basic all around obedience.
From the moment Megan introduced herself and her brief interaction with the puppies, we knew we found the right trainer! She’s a compassionate person who cares deeply for her clients, and she spends extra time to correct behavior when the traditional methods are not enough. Our puppies LOVED seeing her when she walked up to the front door and were typically good students, with a little bit of naughtiness thrown in by one of the boys who will rename nameless!
They really enjoyed their time out of the house to visit local stores and parks to help with their socialization - see pics!
We would highly recommend Megan to anyone looking for a trainer, who doesn’t use aggressive methods but someone who is compassionate and helps the humans learn as much as the puppies learn!

My puppy passed the AKC’s Canine Good Citizen test at only 9 months old. Despite being the type of owner who reads up a lot about dog training and attended group classes, I can’t imagine that my rambunctious, stubborn, and feisty puppy could have passed that young without Megan’s continuous training and endless patience. She’s also a nice person, and we can strongly recommend her for your training needs!

Our dog is 1.5 years old, stubborn, but generally a great dog. He was somewhat lease aggressive, pulled constantly on walks, and greeted people by jumping on them. Megan solved all of these and more.
In addition, Megan makes everyone feel comfortable in the process. She listens and personalizes the lessons to your needs.
We will continue to use Stellar in the future if needed. Would recommend to ALL. It is refreshing to see how well behaved our fur baby can be.
