The Stellar Dog serves the Central Texas areas of North Austin, Northwest Austin, and the cities of Cedar Park, Volente and Leander. The Stellar Dog serves the communities at Canyon Creek, Crystal Falls, The Domain, Four Points, River Place, Steiner Ranch and Brushy Creek. The Stellar Dog specializes in private training and day training for puppies and dogs of all ages. Services include basic obedience and manners training, service dog training and behavior modification for serious issues such as reactivity, fear and aggression.

The All Star program is more comprehensive and your dog will learn several more behaviors. Your dog will be easy to control both inside and outside of your home. You also get the added bonus of email support for 4 months after we’ve finished the training sessions. This way you can feel free to contact me with any questions or issues that come up therefore ensuring the best possible outcome!
The Ultimate Foundation is, well, the ultimate! It is the most comprehensive program and the results are pretty amazing. It consists of a combination of day training sessions, where I work with your dog solo to get the training on board more quickly, plus private sessions where we work together so you know what your dog knows. Your dog will respond to cues, be a pleasure to walk, and shine as an important member of your family. You receive unlimited email and phone support for six months after we’ve finished the training sessions. That’s right, a trainer on hand to answer your questions and problem solve while your dog is perfecting its newly acquired behaviors!

Program details
Train your own Service Dog under the guidance of a knowledgeable and experienced service dog trainer. To enroll in our service dog program you must have a diagnosed disability, and a willingness to work hard with your dog to reach your goals as a team. Service dog training is not easy, but it can be incredibly rewarding. Be prepared to spend time every day working with your dog. During the Initial Consultation dogs will be evaluated for their suitability for Service Dog work and individuals will be interviewed in order to assess their needs. A Public Access Test will be performed at the conclusion of training. Limited training slots available.

Megan was always available to answer questions, her communication was prompt and thorough, and she was a wealth of knowledge (not to mention, our dog absolutely loved her). I appreciated Megan's hands-on coaching / training style and the way we were able to practice things in different settings. She tailored her schedule and training sessions to our family and dog's needs, and we couldn't be more grateful. Megan is so kind, professional, highly experienced, patient, encouraging, and has excellent expertise. Megan worked with our young rescue sheepdog, Oliver, who was very timid, wasn’t socialized, and had mobility issues. Through her patient and positive methods, he has become a more trusting and confident dog. He went from collapsing in the yard because he was afraid to be outside on a walk, to behaving (mostly) and attempting to ignore distractions on a leash. He was very hard to manage on a leash at first and we are now seeing improvement every day! Megan’s program has allowed Oliver to understand what is expected, reducing his anxiety and helping him grow into a well adjusted dog. We love The Stellar Dog. Thank you, Megan!
