My very small dog, one among twenty-five hoarded in a single room, came out of the situation with a terror of other dogs, underweight, undersocialized, and without any training whatsoever. Tweed's playfulness and affectionate nature were his saving grace. His trust of any human other than me was almost non-existent, however. I researched training options and decided, after reading reviews, to take Tweed to Jake. I watched for the first hour as he matter-of-factly began the beginning of training. When this included another dog introduced to the room, I was amazed at what I watched before me. Jake was very sensitive to Tweed's fear, but gently increased his proximity to the large, relaxed dog. I knew then that leaving Tweed for the three week immersion training was definitely the thing to do. Jake sent a video about two hours later of Tweed sitting in close proximity by himself next to the bigger dog. He continued to send occasional videos. Each time I was further amazed by Tweed's progess. Jake is immensely accomplished as a trainer. He is humorous, and very professional. I am so thankful we came to A Spot 4 Dogs, as is Tweed. I plan, for sure, to bring Tweed back for further training. He will be very glad to see Jake and his doggie sidekicks!
