The Right Paw

Jen was so wonderful to work with and I can't thank her enough or say how grateful I am to have worked with her. Dealing with our dog was so challenging for too long. His reactive behavior and "I'm the boss" attitude made it hard to take him anywhere or have people over. We always had to have an eagle eye on him every second of every day. We tried many things that we hoped would help, but nothing worked and things continued to feel out of control. After working with Jen through in-home lessons, our dog has learned to be quiet, less reactive, listen better, and be more independent. He looks more secure and we are all much happier. I knew after talking to Jen initially, that working with her would be the final step and I would no longer need to look into things that would help. She is intelligent, talented, and a wonderful teacher. We never felt uncomfortable or nervous working things out or asking questions and after each session felt so impressed with what we learned and how quickly we saw progress. I very highly recommend her!

We hired Jen for in-home training to help us with our Great Dane Levi. She was professional and so knowledgeable and we felt completely confident she could help us train Levi to be a great dog!!! She did just that and then some. Levi is a very well behaved Dane and everyone always asks how he is so well behaved and I’d say it a million times that Jen from Banks K9 Solutions helped us get the dog we’ve always wanted!!!

Jen was great to work with. We have 4 Yorkies and they would get into their pack mentality when anyone came over. The barking was ridiculous. After the first “Household Manners” session it stopped. We were amazed. The humans in the house became the Alphas again. We have our friends visiting now from the UK and the pups have been on their best behavior. Thanks again, Jen for giving us back our sanity but most of all giving us well behaved dogs.

When our sweet dog suddenly became protective of us and our house by growling and snapping at people and dogs, we knew we needed to manage the behavior immediately. We tried some training at other places, but just weren’t seeing a difference. We signed up for Jen’s in home training and couldn’t be happier! Her knowledge and expertise was extremely helpful. We learned many tips and tricks as well as started remote collar training and have noticed a huge difference. We can now keep our pup in “place” on his bed while we have friends and family over and he remains there calmly while he gets adjusted to the people in his environment. We are finally making progress with managing these behaviors and couldn’t have done it without Jen!
