FirstBarkGreat experience with The Retriever Academy. I have had a total of 5 dogs train through their program as well as purchasing 4 through their litters. Each dog is extremely balanced. Each has been and is a great pet at home and a great hunting companion. I highly recommend their genetics and training to anyone.

A premier training program and facility that produces solid field hunters that will also pass/place at any level of Hunt Test/Field Trial. Derek and his team have worked with me over 10 years to develop my own skills in communicating and hunting with my 4 Retrieving Champions.

Been training dogs with The Retriever Academy some 15 years and use their program with my dogs if you follow the program and spend the time it takes for your dog to progress. the thing I find with most dog owners they get in to much of a hurry and jump ahead and the dogs are not fully trained and end up having some issues down the road. I would send my dog to the retriever academy first choice. Great people with high standards and Integrity. The fantastic training grounds are one of the best you will find.
We took our Chesapeake Delta here for basic training and the results were phenomenal! We’ve taken her hunting multiple times and she always does awesome! I would highly recommend!
What a phenomenal place to train retrievers and have the ability to enjoy the great accomodations of the bunkhouse or lodge. Don't go without a plan or you will be overwhelmed with all the possibilities.
