The Ranch TX K9 Program

I was very nervous about leaving our German Shepherd, Nova, six hours away for training. We knew it was something we needed to do because she was a strong, energetic one-year-old dog that we simply couldn’t control outside of our home. Unfortunately, my husband was hospitalized for 70 days, which disrupted Nova’s training and routine. From the moment I arrived at K9 Ranch, Heather and Raymond made me feel completely at ease. Nova was originally scheduled to stay for six weeks, but because of my husband’s ongoing medical issues, she ended up staying for eight weeks. They were incredibly understanding, compassionate, and accommodating throughout the entire process. The transformation in Nova has been amazing. We now have a well-mannered dog that we can confidently take anywhere, and spending time with her outside the home is truly enjoyable. Heather and Raymond didn’t just train our dog. They gave us the knowledge and confidence to continue her success at home. This training was worth every penny. Cannot recommend The Ranch K9 Program enough. I sent my 10 month GSD who is A LOT of dog to Ray and Heather to work with over 6 weeks. We picked her back up this past weekend and she is a night and day difference both on and off the leash. She is still such a happy girl and now has much more freedom through improved control and discipline. I am very excited to continue to work with The Ranch team to build on this amazing foundation.

We have had multiple experiences with The Ranch and all have exceeded expectations. We did a 3 week board and train to work on reactivity and general obedience and the changes have literally been life changing for our family. My wife couldn’t comprehend what a difference 3 weeks would make and continued to ask if our dog needed more time, they never once tried to take advantage of that in order to up sell us on more weeks. They are a 3 hour drive one way, but since the program, we have boarded with them and won’t ever go anywhere else. Our dog loves them, and gets uncontrollably excited when she sees us pulling into the driveway. They love her as much as she loves and enjoys being with them.
