Although it has been several years since we used Christine’s services, I felt we should send a follow up review. We stay in touch with Christine and occasionally share photos of our Mini -Aussie (Lucy), who is now 3 1/2 and is a mature and beautiful girl. Anyone who has owned an Aussie (or any puppy), knows that the puppy phase is a challenge to figure out what to do with this fun but challenging bundle of energy. Christine helped us understand our new pup, and helped us with games and tasks to challenge her energy and intelligence, and help shape good behavior. That foundational training and understanding of our dog, helped tremendously, as we later got her into Agility, Nose-work, and AKC Good-Citizen award. Continued training never stops in our opinion. But Christine helped set the foundation for us and Lucy.

Love the Puppy Care Company! Christine the owner is not only outstanding as a dog trainer, but she is an excellent teacher to help you as pet owner, understand your dog. I’m obsessed! 😍 She is SO GOOD that she was recommended to me by an expert animal trainer in the SD area ( Even expert trainers need trainers help) I love that she uses 100% positive reinforcement for training procedures. She is clearly an expert at understanding different breeds behaviors & how they behave and she uses this and to customize what is best for your dog. Our dogs are family member so an investment in private training with the Puppy Care Company is well worth it. I would highly recommend her. Wish I would have found her years ago, and if you can get in with her and train with her consider yourself and your pet and family very LUCKY! We couldn’t have asked for a better dog trainer than Christine. She is professional, knowledgeable, and patient. Every training session was valuable—not only for our puppy Toffee, but also for me and my two kids. We all learned something new each time, and Christine always took the time to explain the reasoning behind the training methods in a way that was easy to understand and apply at home. One thing we especially appreciated was that she occasionally brought her shepherd dog to our sessions. Having such a well-trained dog demonstrate behaviors and interactions was really helpful for Toffee and for us as owners. Her guidance gave us the confidence and skills we needed to raise a well-behaved and happy dog. We are truly grateful for Christine’s expertise, and support. Our toy aussie was 10 weeks old when we enlisted Christine's support. She focused on the need to patiently gain Bandit's trust while we encouraged him to master the basics. Christine taught us the difference between an anxious puppy and a puppy that is deliberately disobedient. This differentiation made us more patient and creative with our training. Christine worked with my husband and me synchronizing our approach and accelerating the learning process. She generously brought her perfectly trained aussie, Nico, who served as a mentor for Bandit and a coach for us! In addition to our work with Bandit, she masterfully helped us retrain our 12 year old miniature dachshund who started out very jealous of her new playmate. Christine's work reminded us to celebrate Bandit's progress, Willow's acceptance and all the new tricks we learned together! Thank you Christine! It's been a great experience.
