I sent my Shiba Inu, Keanu (1.5 years old), for the 19 day residential BMOD (behavior modification) training and I was absolutely amazed at his transformation. For some context - Keanu is your typical, stubborn Shiba who had “selective hearing” when it came to obedience. He would tear up the furniture while I was working from home to try and get my undivided attention. He would beg for food and get really disruptive during meal time. He would also hide under the couch when it was time for a walk. Not until he started showing signs of reactivity that I decided to seek professional help, but now I barely recognize the little guy! Blake, the head trainer, gave us the tools for a stronger line of communication. He has brought real peace into our house and I couldn’t be more grateful. On top of that, I get to bring Keanu with me everywhere because I can trust that he will listen to me even in public places. The Prodigal Pooch is a very professional establishment. Scheduling and communication is a breeze with Kelly always on top of it. I highly recommend following their Instagram (@theprodigalpooch) if you want to get a look into how sessions are conducted. A big thank you to The Prodigal Pooch team; you turned my rebel into an angel!

Our puppy has completed puppy preschool and a 19 day in house training session. Working with Prodigal Pooch was a great professional experience. There were no strategies or methods during the training that we doubted or questioned. Our puppy has accelerated his development. We never dreamed we could be completely off leash at 6 months. Thank you Prodigal Pooch, we could not have done it without you!
Our dog needed manners. A sweet dog with lots of energy and love, but difficult to walk. After the 12 day session, cooper now can be easily managed on walks of any length. He has learned to ignore distractions that in the past would have pulled me so hard that he would would choke on his collar. Thanks Blake and Kelly

I brought my 7.5 month old Goldendoodle, Hudson, to Blake for the 19 day residency training program and could not be more thrilled with the results! During the consolation process Blake explained all the training techniques he uses and answered any and all questions I had (and he still does!). While Hudson was at training we got daily photos and videos of Hudson’s progress. When I picked Hudson up he was a changed pup, but still his goofy happy self! Prior to the training Hudson had selective hearing with commands and would pull us all over the place on walks (and he was strong!!). Post training Hudson listens to all commands, and is a dream on walks! We have had 2 of our 4 follow up sessions so far, and these are so so helpful for myself to learn how to use all commands correctly. I could not recommend Blake and The Prodigal Pooch enough! Your pup will be in great hands!!!
