Nothing short of exceptional is perhaps the best way to describe our experience with Mike, his wife and his team. We have had dogs all of our lives, ranging from large labradors to small Maltese and have worked loosely with trainers in the past for general obedience. While we are certainly not experts, we have gained enough knowledge over the years to get our dogs to well obedient states. We currently have 2 Bernedoodles, one older and one at 8 months, who joined our family a few months ago. While he is the cutest thing you’ve ever seen, he was completely unmanageable - jumping, biting, barking, scratching, eating everything off the ground and terrorizing the other dog. Even with all of our experience and patience and attempts to train him, we found ourselves at a complete loss - home life with him became impossible and our kids didn’t want anything to do with him anymore. We had to make a drastic move with him and we knew it. We found PerfectPup online and the reviews were really good, so we reached out. Mike took the time to hear out our situation and then explained the programs he offers in detail and addressed all of our concerns. After weighing out the options, reluctantly, we opted for the 3 week away training with Mike and his family, as we felt a complete overhaul was absolutely necessary. Mike went over all the specifics with us and reassured us all along of the process, safety of our boy and guarantee to get him under control. It was definitely not easy sending him away so young, but it was the absolute best thing that we could have done. What Mike and his family and team did, was nothing short of a miracle and weeks later now, I’m still pinching myself to make sure this is real. His behavior did a complete 180 thanks to the training - he does not jump at all, he literally walks at my knee without fail and obeys all commands. We are at just a couple weeks since he came home and Mike has already been here with us a couple times to continue to support us with the ongoing training that we have to follow through on to complete the process, but all in all the results are outstanding and this has been a huge relief for us as a family.
