The Northwest Dog Trainer

Northwest K9 is an outstanding dog training facility that genuinely exceeded my expectations. I brought my 4-year-old pit bull, Makaveli, to them after he had developed some aggression issues. The trainers were incredibly thorough in helping us identify the triggers for his behavior. We started with a few private classes, where they patiently broke down the situation and worked with us to address the root cause of his aggression. Afterward, we transitioned to group classes, and I was amazed at how much Makaveli thrived around other dogs and people. Northwest K9 is more than just a dog training facility; it feels like being part of a family. The trainers make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in, and their sense of humor and friendly demeanor put you at ease. I highly recommend Northwest K9 to anyone looking for a supportive and effective dog training environment.

I’ve been going with my dog since December 2023. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly and patient with me and my dog. They are super easy to work with and fun! All the classes my dog and I went to we learned something new each time and had fun I’ve seen a lot of progress in my dog and I’m very proud and happy to say so but couldn’t have done it without the staff at The Northwest Dog Trainer. They helped us learn and grow and get some more confidence! We even got the chance to do our Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test and passed!! We love the staff at Northwest Trainer!

I don't have enough words to recommend the entire team of The Northwest Dog Trainer. As first time dog owners, we had no idea how to train our mini schnauzer. (If you know schnauzers they are barkers and stubborn with a strong personality) From the initial consultation, I knew it was the right place but thinking that I could get the same results I went to my local pet store and signed up for classes. Boy I was wrong, months later we were back at Marcus and his team. I didn't hesitate anymore and we started with board and training for Jack. What a change, it literally changed our lives. We are now able to travel with him and he can go everywhere with my children. Sometimes we can't believe it's the same Jack from six months ago. We have learned a lot. He continues to improve with the support of his group classes and We love the community of which he is now part of. Thank you Marcus, Jeremy, Melissa and the entire team for all your work and support.

Yall, I started out at “PetSmart” 😒. You know how that went. I got referred to Northwest Dog Trainer from a close family friend that had taken her dog here with nothing but great reviews. So, I decided to take a change, couldn’t be worse than “PetSmart”. I have 2 hard headed small ankle biters that act like they had no home training. -No fault of mine🤭. We have been doing here for 3 months and BABY when I tell you my babies have turned all the way around and actually listen to me the first time and not have to repeat myself. I want to thank the entire team from the beautiful Ladies up front Melisa and Trinity. These ladies are the glue that hold everything done. Mr. Marcus and his fabulous trainer I call Vato 🤭 inside joke, are so dedicated to all the animals that come through. I have never seen them treat any dog less than another. They have the most patients to be able to put up with 100 different dog types. This is wear you wanna go and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. They have earned EVERY bit of my review.
