The Noble Dogs

When my Wife and I adopted our 4 month old puppy Hazel, we immediately wanted to find a dog trainer that best fit our needs and Grant was all of that and more ! He was always giving amazing feedback and was incredibly encouraging. Throughout the time that we have worked with Grant, Hazel has become such a confident dog and has truly grown into a dog that we can bring everywhere ! Without having Grant to help guide us, we would have struggled quite a bit due to how high energy Hazel is, but Grant showed us how to make the high energy levels work in our favor ! He has helped us with general obedience, walking practices and most importantly for my Wife and I, how to be off leash !! My experience with Grant was very good and we got the results we wanted for our pup, Howl. When starting with Grant, Howl was only a year old and had a lot of problems being reactive and overstimulated when leaving our apartment. Now, after finishing our final session, Howl was very engaged, maintained eye contact outside and even refrained from barking at other dogs. Those are results in my book. I will say I was hesitant about using a prong collar on my baby, but Grant did a great job of helping me make an informed decision to use it and made sure my partner and I were comfortable every step of the way. I’m very thankful that my neighbor recommended Grant. I wanted to learn how to use the e-collar and could not have figured it out myself. I appreciated how Grant combined individual coaching, with a month of practice, videos and text, next session, and also great reinforcement of what I was learning by joining a group that meets on Saturdays. I stopped listening to all the free advice that is out there, because Grant’s explanations helped me (I am the one that needed the training, not my dog.) No pressure, no “special package” and Grant is really a skilled communicator with dogs and us humans.
