Grant has been a wonderful resource for our family and our puppy. Grant not only trains our dog, but us as well, showing us simple methods that work, so that we’re able to continue Teddy’s training. I really appreciate that Grant offers a variety of adventures in safe areas. Teddy comes home happy, tired, and relaxed every time. I can tell Grant genuinely loves dogs and understands their behavior. He always provides great updates, videos and photos. He’s made such a difference for us! Teddy is now calm and obedient at home or off leash thanks to Grant’s work with him.

Great results from two private lessons with Grant. Our dog would pull on walks and was sometimes reactive and would bark in our home at neighbors. With just one private lesson, we saw a huge improvement in our dog’s behaviors. He was no longer pulling on walks and had stopped barking anytime another dog barked or someone walked by our front door. Thanks for the help Grant! We are very grateful we found you.

I recently moved to San Diego and needed some help with my dog, Peach, adjusting to the transition. Peach is such a sweet dog but was struggling with a few challenges—she didn’t want to walk, was generally fearful, and also had some separation anxiety. Grant has been incredible in helping us work through all of this. In just a few sessions, I’ve noticed such a big boost in Peach’s confidence. His support between sessions is super helpful as well. She’s calmer, more eager to go on walks, and making amazing progress. We’ve also started off-leash training and recall, and even in the very first session Peach was doing things I’d never seen her do before. I also love the group classes, which give Peach a chance to socialize in a supportive environment. Overall, I’m super grateful for Grant’s guidance during this transition. Peach is happier, I feel more confident as an owner, and we’re both enjoying the process. Highly recommend!

We have been working with Grant for around 7 months. He has a wealth of knowledge and techniques that have helped us significantly with training our dog Beau. We are coming up on our final lesson and it has been night and day since we started. His recall, obedience, socialization, walking, and behavior are all excellent thanks to Grants lessons. He even helped with introductions between my dog and my friends dog who was not always friendly. They now get along great. I absolutely recommend him to anyone wanting to get their dog trained. Grant is willing to work within your expectations and produce great results. My recommendation when you choose Grant is to outline what exactly you want out of your lessons and he will tailor the regimen to meet those results!

Nalu and I did our first in person training session with Grant, and it was amazing! We worked on leash tension, off-leash recall, heal and ended the session with learning place. Prior to the in person session Grant guided me through how to teach touch, come, and the first steps of heal. I was able to send him videos of our training in which he was able to correct the things I was doing wrong, like touching the treats before saying yes, repeating the command, etc. (the smallest changes in you’re behavior can make the biggest changes in your pup!) Having trained Nalu with those commands prior to the In person session was a huge help. The session was about an hour and a half or more and we packed in a lot. We were able to work on changing the come and heal from a trick to a behavior in our walks so he was able to walk calmly next to me. Once Grant was confident Nalu and I could continue this training on our own we moved on to working on place. Nalu really hadn’t learned this at all prior to the in person session and with Grants help he was able to get it in under 20 minutes! I now have an additional few weeks of virtual support and a few group classes I can attend. I can’t wait to see Nalu’s improvements by the end of all this considering how much he’s already improved since starting this training!
