Transformative Online Training, Truly Beyond Words! We are so grateful for Allegra and her incredible online training program. We took in two stray dogs who were wild, anxious, and completely untrusting. We weren't sure where to begin and it was chaotic for us, until we found her. Through her online courses and virtual sessions, she helped guide us step by step with patience, wisdom, and a technique that honestly goes beyond words. Even though we never met in person, her presence and deep understanding of animal behavior came through in every interaction. With her support, our dogs have started to trust us, calm down, and settle into their new life. The change has been remarkable. It feels like a miracle to see them open up and begin to feel safe and loved. If you're dealing with fearful or reactive dogs, do not hesitate to work with Allegra. The Naked Dog - and Vikki particularly - were perfect for our Cannoli! The online content was helpful and easy to follow, plus the board and train program made a big difference. Cannoli came back her playful self, but with a MUCH better ability to listen. Plus, there were a few key commands and dos/donts that were really helpful: she has never run off with toilet paper or chewed electric cords since board and train and her ability to Sit and Wait is fantastic. Finally, it was wonderful to see Cannoli’s reaction when Vikki came for the follow up session: she was so excited to see Vikki…but also immediately fell into line around her! Clearly Vikki left a very positive but firm impression on Cannoli and we were so thrilled for the help.

Vikki Charlson at Naked Dog has been wonderful with my dogs—and with me. Come to find out that my dogs’ behaviors are mostly due to my own actions-or reactions. At Naked Dog, dogs are rewarded with attention rather than treats. Vikki has worked with me to understand the ‘why’s’ of jumping, leash pulling etc. so that I now have dogs I can actually take to the lake! (A dream of mine!) Also, I can now have friends over without my Aussie jumping on everyone and everything. We appreciate Vikki very much and highly recommend her as a trainer.

I sought out a board and train option with Vikki for my adopted stray Bosco after over 6 months of struggling to gain any ground on basic obedience on my own. A major challenge was going on walks. We were fighting each other every step of the way and I desperately wanted both of us to enjoy walks more.  After the training Bosco came home with all his basic obedience commands learned and mastered, and he walked so much better on a lead. Before I dreaded taking him out on walks, and as a result did not get him out nearly enough. We now have a mutually treasured walk together every morning.  Both Bosco and I learned a tremendous amount from Vikki. We are so much more attuned to each other now.
