The Martial ARFS Dog Training & Fitness Center

The idea of a dog fitness center is awesome. I've been wanting to get my dog into some kind of dog sport to keep her active and stimulated. I had high hopes for this place, but it's just not the right one. I should have listened to my dog because she has never been so nervous before. I forgot my treats and I was asked to grab a bag off the wall. I almost did, but then I realized it wasn't free. Of course I didn't because I didn't want to pay for a bag of treats I didn't need and I did already pay 30 dollars for an evaluation. I've been to obedience classes as well as behavioral and even though asked me to bring treats, they still shared if I forgot. I understand dogs do have food allergies , but it wouldn't hurt to lend some treats if someone needed. Keep different flavors in separate glass jars if you have to. The "stress test" with the guy putting on a unicorn mask on and approaching my dog actually stressed her out. She still ended up barking when the guy was not even wearing the mask. Because of this experience, my dog wasn't acting the same as usual the rest of the day and the next day. I noticed she is also more wary of strangers. If I got anything out of this evaluation, it's that my dog needs a confidence boost. And in the end, I was told about packages that started at about 400 dollars. I was honestly not sold enough and one reason I went in for the evaluation was because I thought you could get individual classes. Not everyone wants to drop that much money at once. Way too expensive for what it is, as well.
