The Loyal Canine Dog Training

We had reserved Louis to train our newest Doberman puppy unfortunately he fell ill, and we do not know his outcome at this point. He had to have emergency surgery and is still trying to survive. Louis was very understanding of our situation and kept in contact with us to find out how our puppy was doing and offered us a refund on our deposit. His concern for dogs in general is very much appreciated, but his own personal reaching out to us on a constant basis to check on our puppy was near and dear to our hearts. We met with Louis at the facility and had a long conversation about theories of training, his process and expectations along with goals. He was very thorough and his explanation and what our expectations would be and how they would be met. We hope in the future that we can use him for any training purposes that we may need.

My husband and I took in a seven-year-old pit bull named Khloe, who’s very sweet but highly reactive to other dogs; she’s also prone to anxiety. After online tips failed to work, we met with Lewis at TLC Dog Training to discuss our concerns about our new dog and opted for private training sessions. Lewis is very knowledgeable but down-to-earth and worked with us at our pace; he also explains things in ways that are easy to understand. We saw improvement in Khloe’s behavior and mood immediately when we began training; now, our dog is often complimented for her good behavior and calm demeanor. What we appreciate most about about TLC Dog Training is their holistic approach. Instead of targeting certain behaviors, all aspects (walking, recall, commands, etc.) were addressed for Khloe’s well-being- she truly is a happier, and even healthier, dog. Also, her reactivity is now manageable with the tools and techniques we gained in training. Everything we learned in training came together to achieve our goals for Khloe and more- we couldn’t be happier!
