Can a 2 year old yorkie poo be trained to use a pee pad? He does not seem to know what it is.
Hi Bobbie, Yes - we have housebreaking info on our website, click on drop down menu in upper right corner and one of the articles is Crate Training your puppy. For one month pretend your 2 year old is a 10 week old puppy and he should get on a schedule. It is a guideline and times shown of course change depending on your household routine. When we mention to take your pup outside - you would take your dog to the pee pad. It can be confusing for some dogs when you teach them to pee inside (some have a hard time distinguishing pee pad from rugs,etc in the home) and little dogs can learn to go outside too. My 8mth old goldendoodle, Cookie and I just finished the the 4 week training program with Richard and Carmen, which was awesome but on last night of the program, Richard asked if there was anything in particular that I felt Cookie needed training on. I mentioned that Cookie would not jump in or out of the car. Within 15 minutes, Richard and Carmen had my girl doing something she had been scared of doing!! Loved the training program and loved that they took the time to do something extra!! Highly recommend the Leash Connection!
We have been going to purchase our dog food and treats here for years! Such a lovely couple owns it and we always get great customer service! Thank you!
