The Kennel At Five Forks

I can’t say enough good things about The Kennel at Five Forks and trainers Bobby and Ericalyn. I brought my 9-month-old black lab, Gunner, who is the sweetest, most loving pup—but he’s also a lot of dog. He’s big for his age, full of energy, and while he knew basic commands, he had almost no impulse control and loved to jump on everyone he was excited to see (which is pretty much everyone). After his training, the difference is amazing. He’s still the same happy, wiggly boy, but now he listens, follows commands, and is much easier to manage. The jumping was a big issue before—now he does this cute little front-paw hop when he’s excited, but he keeps his distance and doesn’t jump on anyone. It’s a huge improvement and way more manageable. On top of the great training, the facility itself is super nice and clean. It’s obvious how well the dogs are cared for there. Gunner was happy, healthy, and clearly loved during his stay—and that peace of mind is priceless. Bobby and Ericalyn truly care about the dogs they work with, and it shows in everything they do. I’m so thankful for the time and effort they put into Gunner. If you’re looking for a clean, professional, and truly effective place for dog training and boarding—The Kennel at Five Forks is it.

Sooooo, I am a proud owner of a Cane Corso who was mocking my yorkies in every way. I was concerned about having such a big dog with no confidence and acting so little. I searched around for the perfect trainer. Every place I found was (for me) too expensive and I just didnt believe they could help me in a 2 week time frame to which thats all they offered. I found The Kennel At Five Forks located in Windsor. Spoke with Bobby the owner and he explained everything about his program, from the price and best of all the time frame. He would keep my girl for a whole month. Im like ok ok, now that sounds convincing. Bobby and his assistant "E" was nothing but perfect. My Jazz is a whole new dog (puppy). She has so much confidence and she listens its just like talking to my kids. Best of all after 30 days, Jazz didnt forget me. The commands she knows are simple and straight to the point. Most of the time I dont have to say anything she just does it. My 8 yr old daughter and 1 yr old granddaughter both play with Jazz without her jumping on them or knocking them down as she use too. If I had to do it all over again I definitely would. Jazz came back smelling good clean and healthy just like I dropped her off. I can walk her with or without a leash. She listens and stays calm when people or other dogs are going crazy. I totally have no complaints and would recommend Bobby to anyone and everyone. Definitely a good program hands down.
