My husband and I adopted our puppy on a whim, and as first time dog owners, we felt a bit frustrated about how to set boundaries for our new family member. We found Dana and immediately our fears were erased! Her confidence, patience, abilities, knowledge, and positive attitude towards us, our new puppy, and our young children was just what we needed. She works with you, takes as much time as you need, and really listens to your concerns. After 4 sessions with her, we now have a wealth of knowledge and feel much more confident with our pup. I would recommend her to all first time dog owners, and seasoned dog owners as well! Thank you Dana, we are so grateful!

Dana has been an invaluable resource in helping me not only with my personal dogs, but many fosters. It's not just about teaching a dog a thing or two. It's about training for the dog, coaching and mentoring the owner(s), effective communication, proper diet and exercise and reasonable expectations. She's helped me see my dogs and my relationship with them in a whole new light. As a result, I've been able to work with them in a way I didn't realize was possible before. Dana is direct and honest and always ready to educate. She truly wants to see owners and their dogs succeed and develop healthy relationships. I don't know where I'd be today without her, probably still frustrated and lost.

Dana Brigman has been a huge supporter of the HSRC and has shared her many talents as a certified dog trainer to help save dogs from the Richmond County Animal shelter. She has helped with several dogs especially “bully breeds” and allowed them a chance to learn necessary behaviors needed in order to get adopted. I can’t say enough about Dana and Poppy. Most of the dogs were not “aggressive” and she would emphasize not to label them that way. Dana and Poppy were able to teach the dogs not to be so excited and learn boundaries when meeting other dogs. A pit bull named Buddy had several trainings with Dana and Poppy. He was able to go from a dog that pulled you down the walk way, lunged at any animal coming by, and just could not get control of himself to a dog that was able to go to Petsmart as a well behaved dog. Buddy is the living the life now in his new home and is such a well trained boy thanks to Dana and Poppy. She has taught me so much in learning how introduce animals together, foster guidelines, and how to educate owners of the part they play in unwanted dog behaviors. I also love that she is a certified nutritionalist for dogs and has a wealth of knowledge on how a dogs food affects their behavior. I would highly recommend Dana to help with any dog issues be behavioral or nutritional. She is awesome 🐾❤️ .
