The K-9 Center

Finally, I was at my wits end with my 2.5 year old pug. We were a couple of couches in, totally not house-trained, reactive and aggressive towards bigger dogs, he was a complete nightmare. I’ve used other trainers that had come to my home and had been rejected by a few telling me he is not trainable. We stumbled on k9 center and had an evaluation done with Riley. We sent Duncan in for the board and train program. I cannot say enough about Riley, Michelle, Alex and all the staff at K9. My crazy little dog graduated the program and came back a well trained dog. He is no longer reactive to other dogs, he’s house trained and leash trained. We’ve continued his training for the life program and he’s always happy to be back. The staff here has absolutely changed our lives and turned my little nightmare into the best dog!

I can’t say enough good things about K9 Center. We brought our rescued Pitbull, Sadie, in for puppy classes and have seen tremendous results over the last 6 months. Riley has been her main teacher and has done a great job not only teaching her, but teaching us, which is probably more than half the Pitbull puppy battle. She does so well on & off-leash at our local parks. I plan on bringing Sadie indefinitely and all our other future pups.

I’d like to start off by thanking the k9 Center for training our 15 month old German Shepherd. He was being very stubborn and talking back to his parents lol. He’s a very verbal dog. Riley and Michelle did a great job with him. My wife and I like the way they approach training dogs. Our dog is so well behaved now it’s like night and day. Thank you Riley and Michelle for everything you did for Buddy we highly recommend the K-9 Center. Their love for dogs shines through their training!

Working with Amanda has been great! She gave me the tools and context I needed to not only improve my own confidence with handling my dog but also improved my dog's confidence and trust in me. I can't say enough great things! Before training at the K9 center, my dog would lunge and bark at cars and then bite my feet. I couldn't control her after these outbursts, and it got to a point where I dreaded every single walk. I tried taking my dog to classes at positive reinforcement only places with no change to behavior. After only a few weeks of training with Amanda, we started to see improvement and now, 3 months later, its like I have a whole new dog! I look forward to going on walks and taking my dog on trips now!
