The K-9 Center

After one bad encounter with another dog . Our GSD Luigi had seemed to become very dominant, showing aggression and seem to be fearful of anything. We tried everything to try to defuse the situation but with a baby on the way / our other older but now passed bulldog.We were dreading the thought of having to potentially give Lou up. We wanted what was best for Lou and for our family ,but wanted to do whatever we could to make it work. Through past history with the trainer Amanda . I came across the k9 center & made a call to give one last shot. Luigi was taken in as a board and train with the notion that he would need continued classes after . Amanda has helped our family to get better control of the situation and build confidence back in Luigi and ourselves as owners. Since working with Amanda She has been amazing & a role model needed in Lou’s life .Although we still got a long way too go I’m just mind boggled at how far he has come . It’s still a work in progress but couldn’t be more proud & a part of a great place . What i love about Amanda is she is understanding but firm. She takes pride in the center and every client / dog she works with . She strives on getting results. I love there rates as it’s worth it in the long run . I love how she works with each client & develops a plan specific that will work for that family . So if your skeptical about finding a great place to take your dog look no further because at k9 center they don’t just treat your dog like a dog they treat your dog like family .

I cant say enough positive things about the K-9 center and my experience. Taken as a recommendation from a friend, my Australian Shepherd started training here about a little over a month ago. She has transformed into a totally different dog since we started training with Amanda. After the initial evaluation, each private training session is tailored toward your dogs training needs. I have personally learned so many different training strategies and tools to improve my dogs obedience from Amanda. I can confidently say my dog has come such a long way in such a short amount of time and I am so proud. Through private training sessions, The K-9 Center will help train your dog to become an obedient version of themselves that everyone wants their dog to be. The staff is very supportive, quick to respond and so kind. I would also like to note that all of the staff goes out of their way to prioritize you and your animals safety (ie: when one dog is leaving a training session and another dog is coming in they are very mindful and make sure there is distance in between or separate doors are used, in a group class, etc.) When you come to the K-9 Center not only are you making an investment for your dogs safety, but a lifetime of freedom and happiness as well. This It's safe to say I look forward to training just as much as my dog does! I HIGHLY recommend this company to everyone that I know.

My dog Leo has been training with the K9 center for a year now and all I can say is WOW! I adopted Leo in August 2021, knowing that he was previously a bait dog for a fighting ring. I knew what I was getting myself into prior to adopting and I knew I had to get him the best training possible…and trust me I found it. Leo would pull, bust out the front door, and lacked manners and discipline. Amanda and John have worked with Leo and I and in the span of a year, with hard work and patience of Amanda and John, he is attending group classes, going to daycare and is able to go out into public and walk/play on and off leash. I cannot thank the K9 Center enough for helping us get to where we are today!! I knew they were good when we boarded my previous dog with them years ago but training Leo with them has really showed me how amazing they are!!
