Hiring Renee was the best decision I could have made. I rescued a reactive dog unknowingly and was at a complete loss. I’ve rescued dogs my whole life and never heard the term reactive. She taught me so many positive skills and ways to help my dog be less fearful. It is still a process but I am no longer afraid to walk my dog and know that he has a wonderful life ahead of him. Renee was always available to me, reaching out with suggestions and helpful information. I absolutely would recommend her!

My husband and I adopted our first puppy, Bumi, when he was about 8 months old from a rescue and he had a lot of behavioral issues that at the time weren't known. Given the misconceptions and prejudice about pit bulls, we knew that we needed help understanding and modifying his behavior in order help him thrive as a positive representative of his breed in our community. We couldn't be more thankful for Renee. She responded to my call quickly, spoke with me thoroughly to get an understanding of Bumi even before we hired her, tailored each session to meet his needs, and worked with us in home. During our first session, Renee helped us connect with Bumi through a fetch/drop it exercise and it really was the foundation for all of his positive steps forward. We were unable to successfully walk Bumi when we first got him due to intense pulling, sensitivity to other animals and people, and not listening to commands. Renee helped us expel some of his energy in the backyard first and then worked us up to walking by our second session. Although still a work in progress, we can now take him for longer and longer walks with little to no incident. He is beginning to get to know his neighbors and several people have asked if they can meet/pet him. And he LOVES it. Without Renee, we wouldn't be where we are today and we are so grateful for her help.

Renee was an absolute blessing for our family. After multiple incidents of guarding behavior with our 5 year old son we were in search of professional help to train our new furry family member and ourselves. Having dogs as a kid I thought I would be well equipped to handle any situation as a dog owner, but it wasn't until working with Renee that I had a clear understanding and blueprint to move forward training our puppy. We spent almost 5 months with Renee via Zoom meetings (pup was 5 months old when we met...now 10 months old). Given the covid world we are all living in this was the best option to ensure our safety and comfort with one another and I truly could not have been more impressed. Renee was able to involve me, my wife, 2 children of 8 and 5 years old, and of course our pup in each training session. You name the behavioral issue and Renee has a solution. We couldn't be happier with the results. Renee's willingness to help outside of our scheduled meetings, her patience, and her knowledge and expertise came as advertised. I'm thankful to have gained the experience and built the relationship with her over the past 5 months. We now have a well behaved dog to show for it! My only regret is that I didn't seek her out sooner. Thank you Renee.

Renee was wonderful to work with. Our puppy Nash is a fun loving golden doodle mix who needed a lot of help calming down to greet and obedience training. Renee gave us not only a folder of information but hands on tips and demonstrations right from the start. Renee is a very serious and thorough trainer who expects you to take notes, follow the suggestions and practice them. Nash has calmed down remarkably from our training sessions. Renee’s approach works and her slogan “sit happens” is truth! Nash sits on command and places even in the midst of six toddler grandkids running around. It’s amazing the difference a good trainer makes and worth the hard work when you see the results. We highly recommend her.
