We cannot say enough great things about The Hyper Pup Dog Training and Armando’s incredible team. Our Dogo Argentino, Gandalf, spent 4 weeks in their board and train program—and the results were nothing short of amazing. Before training, Gandalf was strong-willed, full of energy, and difficult to manage on leash, around the house and around distractions. After his time with Armando, he came back a calmer, more focused, and well-mannered dog. The transformation was impressive, but more importantly, the techniques we were taught as owners have empowered us to continue reinforcing his training at home. Armando is professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about dogs. He took the time to understand Gandalf’s personality and tailored the training to bring out his best. His communication throughout the program gave us peace of mind, and the follow-up support has been excellent. We’re so grateful to have found The Hyper Pup. We adopted a 4-month-old GSD (75%) rescue in March. In the three months that followed, negative behaviors escalated. He was always "mouthy," mixed with a lot of anxious vocalizations. The mouthing became progressively worse, escalating to nipping, leaving bruises. The nipping was precipitated by both demanding attention and his frustrations. Note that we realized that he was not vicious. I have had GSDs for the last 30 years, and this behavior was quite excessive and highly inappropriate. Armando was able to assess and evaluate the problem, instructing me and my husband in how to reassert our leadership and guidance of the pup. Armando knew exactly what was going on; with his guidance, we were able to stop the behavior completely, the nipping completely stopped, and we developed not only a sound leadership role with the pup but an overall happier boy and household. We have a resident pup who was being challenged constantly by our new boy. This also stopped with Armando's help. I would highly recommend Armando in any situation. He knows his dogs! Thank you!!!

First of all we would like to say that we cannot thank Armando and Tyler enough for the wonderful boarding and training they did for our dog Ravyn. Armando and Tyler are AMAZING!! We had Ravyn in for 3 weeks of intense training as she was becoming very aggressive with attacking both my husband and myself as well as our other dog. She was biting and to be honest she was just off the wall and could never seem to settle down.. Within those 3 weeks of training Armando and Tyler worked very hard with Ravyn. They showed such kindness and compassion and had so much patience with her.. When we picked Ravyn up we could not believe we were picking up the same dog that we had dropped off just 3 weeks prior. She was not attacking, biting, barking, or going crazy. She was much calmer and so disciplined, she listened and followed commands. She was like a totally different dog, it was incredible.. I’m so glad my husband did his research in finding Armando . We are so glad we put our trust in him to do what we were having a hard time doing, what we were doing was just not working and both him and Tyler definitely fixed that.. They care very much for all of the dogs that they train. Armando’s expertise in what he does and how he does it is completely AMAZING!! He explains everything and answers all questions asked..You can call, text or email and he will get back to you in such a timely manner.. Thank You a thousand times over Armando and Tyler for everything that you do. Thank You Armando for not only training dogs but also for having served our Country in the Military.. Although we are just getting started with our relationship with Armando and his team, we feel compelled to share the extraordinary trainers we have found. Being tender hearted, I found myself instilling poor behaviors in our beautiful chocolate labrador pup. Armondo is a skilled trainer, excellent active listener, shows compassion to both the owners and pup and best of all is realistic, candid and honest. We are forever grateful for this newfound relationship!!!!

My husband and I would highly recommend The Hyper Pup! After speaking with Armando, we knew that a board and train was the best option for our dog, Esther. After the birth of our baby this past fall, we started noticing a change in Esther’s behavior. She was increasingly anxious and became reactive toward our other family dog. We brought her to Armando and Tyler for a 3 week board and train in February. We could not be happier with the improvements in Esther’s behavior and overall demeanor. She is less anxious and more comfortable around our baby. We have not had any further episodes of her being reactive toward our other dog. Armando and Tyler have given us the tools we need to continue to work on Esther’s confidence and build on everything she learned during her stay.
