The Hub by Pack Animals

Last year, I got a puppy from the shelter. I’ve adopted dogs over the years, but never a puppy and I wanted to make sure that I set her up for success. I looked around for local training programs for puppies. I identified several online, but hadn’t started making any calls or visits yet. Then, when I was walking around the City Center, I came across The Hub. I spoke with Chris, one of the owners and was impressed with the facility and the training methodology. I also liked that they were going to be opening up a daycare program. I started taking Charlie to some classes. It was good learning for both of us. I felt very supported and could tell that all the trainers really cared about dogs and knew their stuff. A few months into the training, the daycare program opened up. I really wanted Charlie to get more exposure to playing off leash other dogs. Everyone at the daycare program is so amazing. They all really care about the dogs. In the past, I had other dogs and took them to various daycare facilities were packed with dogs and had very few staff. It’s the opposite at The Hub. They limit the number of dogs at any given time and always have multiple people looking after them. They also break up the time with play time and training so they’re learning while they’re there. Charlie loves going to daycare and gets so excited when we’re driving there. I know that I don’t have to worry about her when she’s there. She is well taken care of and well loved by everyone there. I highly recommend The Hub.

The Hubpack at Bishop Ranch in San Ramon is an amazing doggy daycare and training center. Our dog, Luca, has been going there since August 2025 while we work out at the Equinox. Before that, we tried a few other places, but Luca never felt completely at ease and always hesitated to go. Everything changed after we visited The Hubpack for an interview. The owners, Andrea and Chris, and their team are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and gentle with all the dogs. Luca is always excited to be there and to play with his doggy friends! The staff is wonderful, and their warmth and playful interactions with the dogs are genuine. Rebecca and Molly are always working with the dogs and training them new tricks. All the dogs absolutely adore them and the team. Every member of the staff is incredibly talented, and we’re so thankful for their commitment and friendliness. Whenever we pick up Luca, he always tries to stay a little longer and at times refuses to leave. David & Nancy

Honestly, I don’t even need to write this review. Bailey already did. The second I say “you wanna go to daycare?” my labradoodle is off the couch and at the door before I’ve even finished the sentence. Dogs don’t lie, and that reaction tells you everything you need to know about The Hub. The staff here are something else. They’re warm, they’re nurturing, and they actually take the time to know your dog as an individual. Bailey has had a fear of her harness for a while now, and without me even asking, the team has been patiently working with her on it. And it’s working. That’s not something you do for a dog you don’t care about. That’s something you do when an animal actually matters to you. And that’s the thing about The Hub. Bailey is not just another dog running circles in a yard somewhere. She is known there. She is seen. The staff remember the details, they put in the extra effort, and it shows in ways that genuinely move me as a pet parent. Trust is the whole game when it comes to leaving your dog somewhere. I’m not an easy person to win over on that front, but The Hub earned it fast. I drop Bailey off without a second thought, knowing she’s going to be loved on all day by people who truly care. If you want a place where your dog is looked after and not just babysat, this is it. Bailey gives it five stars and so do I. 🐾​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

I have been coming here for 8 months as a member. The owners are incredibly knowledgeable about dogs and committed to helping work with you regarding the next classes/training specific to your dog’s needs. I have two herding breed dogs (Aussie/border) who have fear regarding strangers (barking, etc.) The class model has significantly improved the socialization of both of my dogs. For example, one of my dogs used to hide/have a light growl when approached. Now he looks excitedly among strangers as he expects treats from the sky. I took a couple month break during the holidays and noticed a regression in my dogs’ socialization behavior. Luckily, the hub has a lot of flexibility in their options and now I am using their credit model to keep up the dogs’ skill set. Also, my dogs absolutely love it here.

The Hub has made a big difference for our reactive and fearful dog, Luna. The trainers are patient and understanding of each dog's unique situation, and it's clear how dedicated they are to helping every dog succeed. They consistently meet Luna where she is, whether that means training outside or pairing her with other dogs she might get along with. The team also listens closely to customer feedback and continues to add new offerings. The lessons are fun and unique, and Luna has learned to use buttons and even wave at us. Overall, The Hub is a supportive place with trainers who truly care about dogs and their humans.
