We have nothing but wonderful things to say about Maynard and The Goode Dog. From day one, Maynard's program has been structured, supportive, and effective. We started seeing results right away — even after the first visit. The in-home training addresses every aspect of our dog’s personality, behavior, habits, and needs. Maynard's approach is thoughtful and tailored to the dog and the family. Maynard has such a friendly, positive, and encouraging attitude toward both his doggy students and their humans. We started our journey with The Goode Dog when our puppy Kaya was only four months old. I wondered if that was too early, but now I am glad we started when we did. She is developing into an amazing, confident, well-behaved dog, and we couldn't be happier. The group classes are an incredible way for dogs to learn, build confidence, and socialize with other dogs in a safe and structured environment. Our dog loves Maynard and his assistant, Jack. Even our older dog Lexi who is not in the program loves when Maynard visits. I would definitely recommend The Goode Dog to anyone looking to help their dog become a fun-loving, well-mannered, dog-friendly member of the community. Maynard is knowledgeable, patient, and you can see the love he has for dogs . We are very grateful for everything he has done for Kaya.

I can't recommend Maynard enough! He has trained both of our dogs, Red&Blue, and the difference in just six months has been amazing. They've always been good dogs, but Maynard taught them real manners and helped shape them into the well-behaved pups they are today. He's incredibly passionate about what he does, a great listener, detail-oriented, and truly a dog whisperer. The whole team is very passionate and supportive. My ultimate goal is for my fur babies to become service dogs, and I have complete confidence that Maynard will help us get there. Beyond happy with the results from training my rescue. My rescue has a history of abuse and because of that he used to bark and growl at people and had no leash manners. Maynard is great at training and being patient with the dogs, using positivity to work through bad habits and previous trauma; bringing out the well mannered pup that every dog is capable of. I drive 2 hours each way to bring my dog to the Goode Dog and highly recommend their services, very reasonably priced as well.
