The Good Dog Yorktown

We love Good Dog! We started taking our dog to the center when she was 17 weeks old and we have taken almost every single class!! Honestly we have learned so soooo much and have the dog of our dreams who is well behaved and has allowed us to give our dog more freedom and take her so many places bc of how trained she is. We could not say enough good things about Good Dog and really believe in their training and care. Thank you Morgan, Katie, and Amber!

I can’t say enough good things about The Good Dog and their Puppy and Basic Obedience classes. My dog, Shadow, has made incredible progress in a short amount of time. The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and take the time to explain not just what to do, but why it works. The puppy class provided a great foundation for socialization, confidence building, and basic manners. Moving into the Basic Obedience class, we’ve seen huge improvements in leash walking, focus, sit, down, and overall responsiveness. The training methods are clear, positive, and easy to continue practicing at home. What impressed me most was how much the trainers genuinely care about both the dogs and their owners. Every class was organized, encouraging, and tailored to help each dog succeed at their own pace. If you’re looking for a place to start your puppy off on the right foot or strengthen your dog’s obedience skills, I highly recommend The Good Dog. The investment has been well worth it, and I’m excited to continue building on everything Shadow has learned.
