FirstBarkOur Labrador went to training for the 4-week program and came back wonderful. He’s is amazing and it was the best choice we have made!! Once a crazy dog with no listening skills and very chaotic who came back well trained and a 10/10 dog. Amber is a 10/10 trainer. We will be back once we need to board him for our vacations.

About The Good Dog Academy
We offer remote, at home, or at our location dog training sessions. Whatever your training needs, from puppy socialization, basic -advanced obedience, to problematic behaviors, we have got you covered. Together we can establish and clarify training goals. Then, we will provide you with a training plan to reach the established training goals. Typically we meet weekly or biweekly to evaluate and train together until we achieve our training goals, but the frequency is completely up to you. Each lesson is customizable to your priorities and molded to best suit your pet's learning style to ensure satisfaction.

Amber exceeded my expectations. I was in constant awe of how she was able to handle each and every dog behavior that I had previously struggled with IMMEDIATELY. Not only that, she was able to teach me and convey information in such a calm, non-judgemental manner. I would HIGHLY recommend this training academy in every aspect.

Amber has been our trainer since our German shepherd puppy was 12 weeks old and he is almost a year now. Admittedly, we are not the best trainers so we needed some help. He is a pretty good dog for us with her guidance in training. We recently used Amber for boarding for a week long vacation where she allowed him to be a house guest as well as provided some additional training sessions while we were gone. We left her with a puppy that needed some work on house manners and picked up a puppy that is so well behaved in the house with babies throwing balls and absolutely no reaction from the dog! I cannot believe the magic she has worked on this dog. I can’t tell you how impressed I am! We also got daily pictures and updates as well as video clips of training sessions so we can implement them at home. We love Amber!!!
I was very pleased with Amber and her visit to my home. She was relaxed and made my new doggy feel like we have known each other forever. She is knowledgeable and very positive. I definitely will be recommending The Good Dog to everyone with these specific doggy essentials.
Amber was wonderful. She treated me with kindness and professionalism. She was wonderful with my GSD Maxi. She is a totally different dog than when I dropped her off. I 100% recommend The Good Dog for your training needs.
