The Fine Canine Dog Training & Boarding

Monica is simply incredible! We sent our 8 week old Sheepadoodle for a 4 week training and she's 6 months old now, she's such a good puppy and has never had issues following the commands taught by Monica. I firmly believe that early on training helped us a lot but Monica puts her magic into how she trains the puppies for them to be a great dogs later on. Definitely recommend Monica to anyone looking to get their dogs/puppies trained.

Our 6 year old Sheltie, Penny, came from an abusive and neglected situation when we rescued her. She had never had a name or been inside a house. She lived in a crate inside a barn, and was used for breeding at a puppy mill. Training wasn’t even a thought. We turned to Monica and her team at The Fine Canine for long term training, boarding, and to help her become acquainted and trusting of people. After being with Fine Canine, Penny knows her name, has better house manners, recalls basic commands, trusts people when she gets to know them, and has become a happy, joyful little girl. She also walks on a leash. Monica is so kind and gentle with Penny. She needed special attention to get past the mental blocks and fear that she accrued over 6 years of abuse. Monica knows what type of training and encouragement is needed for her. When we go out of town, I trust no one else with Penny. I can feel confident that she is well taken care of by her entire team. They treat her as their own and will even check in to see how she’s doing. I can tell Penny is genuinely loved by all of them.

We added a German Shepherd puppy to our family, a very busy breed known for being super protective. We did the 4 week boarding training program with Monica and the Fine Canine team and couldn't be happier! Not only has Roxy stopped the inappropriate biting/chewing, she has many commands and she got loads of socialization because Monica took her everywhere! She is so good with other dogs and strangers! We will definitely use the Fine Canine for continuing education for our girl! Highly recommend!
