Dogs and humans communicate very differently, and learn differently from one another. Our goal is to educate the dog, but more importantly, educate the human on how to learn their dogs behaviors and mannerisms so they can be efficient teachers. When you are able to understand your dog and use positive, appropriate training techniques, you are able to create a stronger bond with your dog, all while creating a well mannered dog in your home and out in public. All of our training techniques are 100% positive reward-based, and will never use any form of punishment that could inhibit your dog's success.

If you are looking for dog training and an overall wealth of knowledge about true, science-based dog behavior, Jessi and the Family Fido are the place to go. Using all positive reinforcement and a Karen Pryor Graduate, as well as a vet tech and therapy dog trainer, there is no one else like her in Rochester. I cannot recommend Jessi enough from everything to basic puppy and adult classes to specialized one on one training
