The Enlightened Dog

Since 2013, my dogs and I have been steadfast clients of Dara Lambert, The Enlightened Dog. Without hesitation, I recommend Dara as a highly-gifted dog trainer. I met Dara as a trainer after rescuing my Yorkshire Terrier, a dog who had spent his entire 5 year life abused and neglected in a puppy mill. Dara embraced my petrified little boy, patiently and lovingly teaching him not only to accept people as his friends but to enjoy the world around him. I have since rescued my 2nd special needs Yorkie. Dara continues to train both boys, taking them on weekly excursions, exposing them to a variety of challenges while improving their doggie skills and manners. Dara also frequently participated in continuing dog education conferences acquiring the most current training techniques. We are very grateful for Dara. She is very patient, loving, and kind yet a very knowledgable, skillful trainer. I have observed Dara while training my boys as well as while training other dogs; she has a unique ability to “read” a dog’s behavior, determine its causes, and how best to address that behavior with positive corrective activities. Not only has our dogs’ behavior tremendously improved but their overall quality of life-all directly attributable to the training expertise of Dara Lambert, The Enlightened Dog.

Dara is awesome! She is very kind and a great listener. Saw results after one day of drop off training. After 5 sessions, the behavior we wanted corrected has now become extremely manageable and almost obsolete. I am surprised she doesn't have more reviews. I would highly recommend the Enlightened Dog.
