The Educated Dog

It is hard to put into words how much Deanne changed our lives, but I will try! We adopted our dog Gracie when she was around a year old and calling it a challenge is an understatement. At the time, we did not seek out professional training. We started working with Deanne when Gracie was around 3, and although she had calmed down significantly, she still had some challenging behaviors (like leash pulling) and she did not consistently follow commands. After a few months of working with Deanne all I can say is WOW - I wish we had found her earlier. From our first session, it was clear that Deanne has a passion for animals and Gracie took to her immediately. It was also clear that Deanne knows her stuff - she has done the research and taken the time to thoroughly study dog training philosophies. Her positive, evidence-based approach made us feel confident that with time and dedication the strategies she was teaching us would pay off. Gracie made great progress with each session and the best part was Deanne took the time to make sure we felt confident carrying over her teachings in between sessions. Since working with Deanne our bond with Gracie grew stronger and she transformed into a much better behaved family member!
