We absolutely love Deanne! To say that she gives her heart and soul to helping dogs and to doggy parents is such an understatement. She is incredibly knowledgeable and also continues to stay up to date with new studies and information so she can bring as many tools as possible to the table. Our new rescue pup presented us with many new challenges, and Deanne has been with us every step of the way. She is always available on text or by phone call. We are so thankful to have found someone who genuinely cares and is 100% committed to her clients. Our dog has separation anxiety, and Deanne has not only provided detailed daily training missions for us, but she has provided incredible support. Anyone who has gone through SA training understands how frustrating it can be, and Deanne has cheered us on and encouraged us throughout the process. Our previous dog also had separation anxiety. We had a dog trainer years ago, who essentially just talked to us for an hour and left us on our own with no support. He also used techniques that were not backed by extensive studies and research. We ended up giving up on the SA training for that dog because we did not have proper support and training techniques to see improvements. Deanne is the exact opposite. If we had Deanne for the previous dog, I believe we could have trained our previous dog out of the separation anxiety. Deanne is a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT). With the strategies used from her training, we see continual progress with our dog. She provides training techniques backed by science and that we can implement right away. She also sends us a detailed summary of the lessons and steps so you have something to refer to. She takes care of it all. She knows her stuff, is compassionate and just all around lovely to work with!

I would highly recommend Deanne! She helped us work with our 8 month puppy and within a very short amount of time he was strong in many foundational skills. She is warm, funny, and extremely generous with her time and knowledge. After each session she sent very thorough notes, that would outline work done and what to move towards in the future. Deanne is an AMAZING trainer. She definitely knows her stuff and she is a very compassionate and understanding person to work with. You can tell she definitely enjoys what she does and she does it for the better of your dog. Even when we aren't training she will still message me checking up on my dogs and making sure they're doing ok. Deanne has a genuine love for animals and you can tell she will treat your baby like they're her own. She has so much compassion and empathy for them, and will never blame your pet for "bad behavior". Her mantra of positive reinforcement and her understanding of dog psychology makes her one of the best trainers I could recommend! My dog absolutely LOVES her and gets so excited every time he sees her come over. If you're thinking about scheduling training with her, I'd say go for it as I couldn't recommend her more!
