The Dogs Spot

Pricing is one of the best around Savannah. You won’t get any updates unless you text them which was kind of a bummer. They also hardly answer their phone, so communication could be better. I understand they train dogs but you also have other dogs in your care as well. Our biggest issue is the refund policy or lack of. Our lab got picked up early and they absolutely do not want to refund us our money, although it’s not stated ANYWHERE on their website and we never signed anything saying we would only receive a “credit”. We are a military family moving out of the area and obviously can’t use the credit now so we are out $200+. Just know you’ll have to pay up front and if any issues or changes arise while your pet is there you won’t see your money. Overall it seemed pretty cold and transactional. Reply to Owner: My phone number wasn’t the only number my husband and I called from. We called yesterday and today and talked to two different employee’s about a refund and were met with “yeah we will call her and talk to her, we will call you right back” and NEVER get a call back. So we are only getting a reply back about the “credit” because I did a review? As stated before we are a military family and don’t know anyone in the state of Georgia let alone Savannah to “transfer” the credits to. I can tell you I will most definitely be telling our military community NOT to use your services. I feel like this is really dirty and should have been discussed prior to paying you $500+ because it’s not stated anywhere. Unfortunately my husband was the one that dropped him off, had I brought him he wouldn’t have stayed. Sure your boarding prices ARE good until you’re met with the additional cost to check up on your dog that other facilities do at no cost. Nonetheless we obviously won’t be returning and just wanted to warn others about your “credit” policy so they aren’t blindsided.
