The DogPa K9 Training

Nick at DogPa K9 Training is fantastic! We took our English Cream Retriever puppy and he was fantastic with her! He is very patient and you can sure tell he loves his job! We left there with all the directions needed to continue our work at home. He is always available for any questions you may have. Highly recommend him for all your puppy/dog training needs! Ruby says he has the best treats in Omaha! 🐶❤️

There is not enough wonderful things to say about the fantastic DogPa K9 team! My dog was scared of other dogs and taking him for a walk was a nightmare until he went through the advanced training. Everything was so comprehensive and they were always available to answer questions even outside of scheduled training. I appreciate that there was not a “one size fits all” approach and if one option wasn’t working, we were able to pivot to a route that worked best for us. I will definitely be returning with future dogs!

I reached out to Nick for help with our 6 month old black lab and we decided to do the FUNdamentals 101 training classes. This pup is unlike the other labs we have had. She was causing quite the disruption in our home and was just not enjoyable to be around. We were at a loss with how to get her to behave. Nick was amazing with both the puppy and us! He was very flexible with class times, patient, and very thorough, covering all of our behavior concerns. I wish we would have started sooner! There is a noticeably big difference in our pup after these classes! And now we have the knowledge and tools to continue training her at home.

Almost a year ago we adopted a precious boxer/mastiff mix from a rescue. She was 18 months old and had been quarantined for months because she was a Parvo pup. When we met her she was still quite de conditioned and weak from her ordeal. Unbeknownst to us at the time, once she was fully recovered we would have 90 pounds if pure muscle with no self control. Try as we might, walks and outdoor experiences were a disaster with an uncontrollable lunging dog. When guests or the grandkids would come over, she was a jumping and racing fool. We had tried the methods recommended by the rescue personnel but Roxie had other ideas. The day that she pulled me across the street lunging for another dog we knew we needed professional help and soon. We contacted Nicholas who responded immediately, came to our home to meet Roxie and her family and agreed to take us into his program. Nicholas ‘ style and demeanor are exceptional. You immediately feel confident in him and his training methods. He is an excellent instructor, with specific goals for each lesson. He works with you at your and your dogs pace. Provides you with the knowledge to use the tools required to have a dog that respects and trusts you to be the owner they deserve. We are indebted to Nicholas for his professional knowledge and patience and for helping us have a wonderful addition to our family!!!
