The DogPa K9 Training

We went to Nicholas for help with our dog Paisley with her dog reactivity issues. We had tried 2 trainers previously with not great experiences. I was pretty apprehensive to try out another trainer but I could not be happier that we gave Nicholas a chance. We signed up for 8 sessions with him and just a couple sessions in we started seeing results with Paisley. Prior to training with him we could not take her on car rides or walks anywhere without her barking and growling at every dog that we passed. Walks were impossible. Paisley has now graduated and we are able to take her on walks anywhere with basically no reaction! Nicholas was very responsive, gave great feedback during sessions, and really helped change our lives at home with our girl. He is a very genuine person who loves making a difference for these pups. We could not be happier that we decided to work with him and would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a trainer!

We had a great experience with the DogPa -- Nicholas exceeded our expectations! We signed our 15 mo old lab, River, up for the 2-week board and train. River had issues with impulse control, stealing and chewing up toys/shoes/sunglasses/furniture/everything, jumping up on people and extreme leash pulling. I was apprehensive about Riv being away for 2 weeks, but Nicholas sent daily photos and videos which were both appreciated and helpful. After the 2 weeks, Nicholas leads an extensive training lesson for the dog and their owners so you feel prepared to continue training at home. River's behavior has improved immensely and it finally feels like he doesn't rule the house anymore :) Also, we really appreciate Nicholas' continued check-ins and reminders of the lifetime of follow-up, which is AMAZING! All that to say, we highly recommend the DogPa!

After going to a different dog trainer and not getting the results our furry friend so desperately needed, we decided to seek guidance from the DogPa. We were hesitant to try another trainer after our bad experience but man are we glad we did! We could see an incredible difference in our puppy’s behavior just after the first training session. Over the course of his 5 session FUNdamentals 101 class, he turned into a completely different dog (in a good way) and we are forever grateful. If you or someone you know is looking for a dog trainer who genuinely cares about improving your pups behavior, you need to give DogPa a shot, you won’t be disappointed.

Thank you for spending two weeks training our 16 month old Lab. We are so happy with his progress and we look forward to continuing the training at home, utilizing the techniques taught to us at the end of the session!
