The Doghouse, LLC

I would recommend The Doghouse to anyone - for training or boarding - as we've used both services. We have a challenging GSD named Brisby. She's afraid of everything, and responds by barking, which makes her terrifying to other people. We also had a baby on the way and wanted to make sure she had the basics down. After meeting our dog, Carrie recommended a month of in-depth socialization training. It was not only the best thing we've done for our dog, but also the best thing we did to prepare for our baby, who is now five months old. Brisby spent one month at their facility with trainer Samantha. We were given updates and pictures constantly, which made her time away a bit easier. The final week, we were integrated back in to the training and taught alongside her. Sam is great and we truly appreciate everything she did for us and Brisby. Our dog came back more confident and, though they couldn't remove her fear entirely, now knows how to respond when she's nervous or scared. They also taught us how to help her. The "Place" command has been invaluable, both for the dog's sanity and ours. TLDR - They are fantastic: the facility is clean, the dogs are well cared for, and they truly know what they are doing. I can't recommend them enough.

I brought my GSP puppy in for full service training after hearing several glowing reviews of Doghouse LLC from friends and family and I'm so glad I did. Training taught Sadie so much and the obedience she learned made our relationship that much stronger. Sadie now attends daycare at the Doghouse and loves it. She comes home in the evenings exhausted and ready to sleep/cuddle. I can't say enough about Carrie, Jordan, and the whole Doghouse staff. They go above and beyond to provide the best possible service for their clients.
