Questions & answers
From GoogleWhat people have asked about this business.
How often and times are obedience classes? My fiance are expecting and need to get out big dog a few manners before she comes.
We have some in October and in the holidays months we will have some four weeks ones
Community answer · The Doggie Spot · 2020-09-21
Do they have a food aggression class? I have a 3 year old Chiuahaha blue heeler mix, she's not aggressive towards other dogs or people just towards my cats when it comes to food time. It happens once every few months.
We can do private lessons and in 2019 we are adding a reactive dog class.
Community answer · The Doggie Spot · 2019-09-21
I'm sure that the staff could assist. They have regular classes as well as one on one training available

When is your next opening for dog grooming class?
Unfortunately i do not work there but you can call them and they will answer any questions you might have. They are great to work with!
Community answer · James Lytle · 2018-09-21
Can service dog training be done here?
They can teach obedience. And can train a dog for therapy but they do not train for service dogs
Community answer · Tiffany Bierd · 2019-09-21
I think they can but you should contact them to find out the full list of services. I do know they are great to work with and i can highly recommend any of their offerings!
Community answer · James Lytle · 2018-09-21
I would contact them directly. If they don't they know who does
Community answer · Tracey Carroll · 2018-09-21
How much for grooming of my pup?
Nails are 8 bucks. Not sure for fur cut.
Community answer · Jordan Tullio · 2018-09-21
If it's a larger dog they charge $12 to cut nails, and grooming depends on what all you want done and the size of your dog
Community answer · Stacey's “Heart Desires Tranquility” Turpin · 2018-09-21
Hes not very big and he needs a cut.
Community answer · Valerie Bridgewater · 2018-09-21
What is the cost and how long the school
The classes are 6 weeks long for $110. We have four week long classes for $80. For the day training, we can set-up an evaluation of your and your dog and see what fits. We have half day and full day packages.
Community answer · The Doggie Spot · 2018-09-21
I'm not real sure on the cost of the school maybe a hundred twenty five maybe but it's for 6 weeks and I highly highly recommend them

Lucy and I started Scentwork at The Doggie Spot on March 3rd 2025. The photo below is from September 14, 2025. We have been training with Khara since the beginning and she has been fantastic! Not only is she super knowledgeable, but she shares that knowledge and helps teach you how to read your dogs body language. I didn’t “get it” at first and thought I would really struggle in this sport. However, Khara records us at trainings so I can go back to watch and learn from the practices. Speaking of practices, we don’t just practice at the building. We take field trips and go to parks and other buildings around town to introduce our dogs to new places and smells. Aside from the training, they also have awesome high quality, reasonably priced dog treats that my 3 dogs love. I now have to buy treats monthly to keep the pups happy. They also have great sales occasionally so be sure to follow their Facebook page. I haven’t used their groomer because my husband and I do it ourselves but they do offer a lot of other services like doggie daycare, all kinds of dog food, treats, Ruffland Kennels, collars, leashes and toys. I would trust any of the ladies there with my dogs. They are all really wonderful and your pooch will be in great hands if you choose to utilize any of The Doggie Spot services.
Fast service to get my dog groomed. It took a little over 70 minutes. She has been shedding even worse after the visit 2 days ago.
We have been dedicated patrons of The Doggy Spot since they opened. A wonderful group of people who love their animals!
Great training programs and a cute little store with a good variety supplies.
