When I got Rosie back she was so well trained. It is amazing how she Doesn't pull the leash and is not reactive to other dogs. Kurtis is the wizard!! He is professional Competent and very, very nice.

This allows us to maintain a safe, controlled environment where all dogs understand expectations and communicate appropriately. Unlike traditional run all day daycares, we focus on balance. Dogs participate in structured social sessions throughout the day, followed by scheduled rest periods to prevent overstimulation and reinforce calm behavior. Daycare runs from 6:30am to 7:00pm, Monday-Friday. Drop-off times are between 6:30am9:30am, and pick-up times are between 4:30pm7:00pm. At this time, we do not offer half days. The Dog Wizard Westlake exceeded all my hopes for my pup. I had heard all the horror stories about boarding or training and was a bit scared. I have always trained my own dogs but I just don’t have the same time I did when I was able to do that. Kurtis and team built off my foundation and really did three things: 1. Most importantly - they loved on my dog and gave her extra attention because they love dogs - a home away from home. 2. Supersized my training to places I couldn’t take her. 3. Gave me the tools to continue her training and continue the lifetime journey of training in small easy to understand steps. We love Dog Wizard Westlake!
We would highly recommend the Dog Wizard to anyone who wants to communicate better with their dog. Our dog Bandit loved his work sessions and picked up lessons easily. He is much better behaved now and we are implementing techniques and strategies we learned.

Kurtis did a GREAT job training and socializing my GSD puppy. Only after a couple training sessions we have a GSD that is well behaved in public places. Hank just turned 1 and we take him with us to patio restaurants and he lays at our feet. People don’t even realize we have a dog with us until we are walking out with him healing at our side. I can’t tell you how many compliments we have gotten on Hank’s behavior. I would highly recommend training with Kurtis and the Westlake Dog Wizard!!
