We’re the Dog Wizard team in Cincinnati, and we help dog owners achieve calm, reliable behavior through clear structure and hands-on training. We work with puppies and adult dogs struggling with leash pulling, reactivity, anxiety, aggression, and impulse control. Many families choose our board-and-train jumpstart programs for intensive progress, then continue with private lessons, puppy programs, off-leash training, and free lifetime group classes. We also support graduates with daycare and boarding options that reinforce good habits. David came highly recommended and has made life with our 9 month old pup Kip such a joy! We did the 14 day board and train and went on vacation. We came home to a dog whose bad habits are completely under control. In just a few days we’ve been able to open the house back up to him and let him hang out with his family again, confident that if he grabs something he can’t have we have the tools to get him to drop it quickly and redirect with success. He’s still his playful, loving self but with clear boundaries. David worked hard to teach us how to be the trainers too, and the quick successes we’re having is making us all excited to work with him, rather than the frustration we were all feeling before.

He was so willing to meet us at our locations for training so we felt comfortable with her in our environment. I highly recommend Dave and the Dog Wizard for any dog training needs.
My 1 year old golden doodle just finished a three week board and train at the Dog Wizard. David is incredibly knowledgeable and is a great trainer for our very reactive pup. I really appreciate the instruction provided during and after the training. It will help to insure that all of David’s hard work will pay off for years to come.

We have had nothing but wonderful experiences with Dog Wizard and with our trainer, Pam. We have a very high energy chocolate lab puppy, and our other training program was unsuccessful in helping her learn obedience and self-control. We wanted Sadie to keep her spark, but learn to interact with other people and dogs in a positive way. We had her in the three-week board and train program, and the results have been amazing! The daily videos put us at ease and made us feel like we were part of the process. The mid-program lessons and the public meetings affirmed our relationship with Sadie and made all the difference. The on-going commitment to continuing her growth and maintaining the progress has been so helpful. We recommend this program to anyone and everyone!
