FirstBarkOur trainer here has been the best trainer for our dog. She has been helpful at making walks easier and I now enjoy walking my dog. They tailor training to your dogs needs and make the experience easy for you to take lessons back home to practice before adding on too much for you or your dog. We are doing private lessons where I bring in our dog and complete the lesson with her.

Can anyone give me an estimate on prices? I'm a good hour and an a half away from Charlotte
It depends on which program you want to go with. If you go with the immersive program that we went with, your dog will spend a week or two with them, so it'd just be a trip to drop off your dog and another trip to pick him/her up. I agree, they aren't pushy salespeople in the least. Actually, they arent salespeople at all, they're trainers. I highly recommend them. It's really worth whatever they charge.

Four years ago I brought my dog here for a few weeks and it layed a foundation of good behavior and obedience that I have been enjoying ever since. The communication skills of the business needed some work though.

Absolute game changer. We have a bully boxer that we rescued, and although we went through a few trainers prior to dog wizard, his Reactivity was still a challenge. After interviewing a few board and train programs, Emily and Danielle gave us the confidence to give them a try. Brody was boarded and trained in their 18 day program. We received weekly updates from his trainer and videos that we could watch. His remarkable transference from a reactive dog to a well trained companion will allow us to enjoy so many different activities we were not able to do. Alissa was a great trainer. Not only did she train Brody, she trained my husband and and myself. We all left feeling relieved and confident. Thank you very much. I highly recommend this amazing company

Jamie really cared about my dog learning and took full opportunity of each minute. My dog absolutely loved working with her, too. I would recommend the Dog Wizard to everybody!!!! :)

We finally decided to put her in the 18 day program as a desperate attempt to find peace in our home. Penny came home after 18 days of training with Jamie and I can not say enough good things about Jamie and the training program. We still have to continue the training at home to cement what she was taught but she is doing so well. She is calmer, happier, has better direction, is behaving, and we are already feeling a sense of peace in our home. What a blessing! No matter the cost… worth every penny. 😊
