The Dog Training Spot

Stephanie has magic!! Not only is she a great trainer, she has so much compassion for her clients and her doggy students. What she got was a barking, jumping,nipping and bitting dog that i couldn’t even walk without a problem. What I got back was just the opposite not only had she helped with all of the bad behavior, but is there for me if I have a problem or a question. She calls to see how my dog is doing. She also helped me realize I needed to be trained too. My dog has turned around completely, and for that you have to have magic.!!! I just want to say if you need a trainer, there’s no one other than Stephanie and the dog training spot. Thank you, Stephanie.

Stephanie is a confident dog trainer. She custom fits her training for each individual dog. My dog was not use to going for walks so it was not a good or great time for either me or her. She was anxious and fearful of everything. While wearing a harness she would either pull or stop and refused to move. She would bark a lot at cars, trucks and other people just walking close to us. She was not social to other dogs either. I signed my little girl up for a 3-week training program for Stephanie to help her be confident, calm and fearless while walking and social to other dogs. Of course, I had to be the same while giving her guidance along the way. So I was taught by Stephanie to do this too. Stephanie has given us a bridle to use to continue training at home. Stephanie is available for weekly group gatherings with you and your dog to continue reinforcing what you and your dog has learned. She is a great trainer who is honest about what your dog is capable of doing, and possibly what they are not able to do. Again, as each dog is different as we are. Love you, Stephanie!!

We recently hired Ms. Steph to break our 85lb, 4 year old English Cream Golden from pulling HARD on the leash. The 1st 10-15 minutes were tough, as our golden is quite stubborn, and strong. So, Steph took the dog by herself for a lesson, adding a snoot harness, and the dog came back without pulling. Amazing. I thought, sure you can do it, but what about us? We tried it while Ms. Steph was there and of course, the dog didn't pull. We received some advice and walking tip and went home. We waited about 6 hours (the dog was tired from her lesson), and tried to walk the dog ourselves (both me and my wife). I was pleased that the dog remembered what she was taught and didn't pull! First time ever for us. My wife tried it with the same result - no pulling. Now she had a smile on her face. Next day, tried the walk again with the same good, no pull, results. It's been 4 days now so I think we've (us and the dog) got it down. We are super pleased. Ms. Steph did a great job with our dog and I'm sure it'd be the same with your dog as well.
